Cladding
|

|
Our buildings only use red wood cladding as this is a more resilient timber than less expensive white wood. The cladding we use ranges from 12mm to 21mm thick, dependent on its purpose.

Re-Treat & Care
|
|
|
Our range of animal housing is treated with a water based, animal safe preservative. We recommend twice yearly re-treatment to maintain the good looks and durability of the wood. We can supply our Safe & Natural Retreat at £7.50 for a 5 litre container.

Pressure Treatment
|
|
|
|
We keep the use of pressure treated timber to a minimum on Environmental grounds. We only use this timber in areas of constant ground contact such as; feet, bases and posts.

Weld Mesh
|
|
|
|
Our poultry and small animal runs all use 1”x 1” 16 gauge galvanized weld mesh, this is stronger and more resilient to fox attack than the 19 gauge wire used by some. Our dog runs use 10 gauge galvanized weld mesh.
