A few things to think about when choosing a kennel for your dog
- The primary purpose is to protect from the elements and this includes heat as well as rain and wind
- The floor should be raised to help prevent damp
- Any rain entering the doorway should not be able to puddle or run into the sleeping area
- The materials used should be able to breathe and provide insulation so as not to form condensation
- You will need good access to be able to clean and change bedding
